This is THE view not to be missed if you are in the area. As its name suggests, the Colorado River makes a huge horseshoe-like bend right in the middle of huge cliffs. The view is impressive to see!
To get there, you have a parking at the entrance, then you walk about twenty minutes to the view. Enjoy the view as much as you want and then return the same way. It’s a very short visit, but the view is worth the detour.
Entrance fee to Horseshoe Bend: $10 / €9.50 per vehicle
WHEN TO GO?
I was there at the beginning of June. The weather was great but there was quite a bit of wind. It all depends on the day.

Allow only an hour. Like I say, it’s just a short walk and a view.
MY 3 TIPS TO VISIT HORSESHOE BEND
- Bring water because there is no water point there.
- Go there from the end of the morning to have beautiful colors.
- Do not hesitate to walk where you can once you have arrived at the point of view.
